The human advantage: Stronger brains in the age of AI
This is quite some report from The McKinsey Health Institute, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum, published on 16th January this year.

It’s definitely worth a read if you have an interest in the subject of brain health and the relatively new concept of brain capital which is explained in depth.
It’s been written in the style of an investment prospectus but I suppose in a way, that’s what it is; setting out as it does, how capital will be used along with investment objectives and results.
There are numerous, objectively valid observations made. I think overall, there is also a mixed message.
It promotes five levers to build brain capital. The fifth is, ‘Mobilize for brain capital by forging a coordinated global movement that aligns stakeholders around a shared vision and road map to build brain capital.‘
Yet at the same time, one premise of the report is about individual countries or employers gaining a competitive advantage by investing in their own brain capital.
Can you have both a coordinated global movement and a competitive advantage? I’m not so sure.
