Hello.
I'm John Picken and thank you for visiting the Shandwell website.
Most of what you will read here is focused on helping employers implement effective health and wellbeing strategies. There is growing evidence this is an area that has a big impact on organisational performance. Employers are also now recognised as having an increasing role in determining the health of the working population.
What government, healthcare agencies and service providers do to support employers and each other is equally important.
As approaches to health and wellbeing develop, how people work together with clear leadership, accountability and defined objectives will be vital in delivering successful results.
The objective of Shandwell is:
" To help improve the health and productivity of the working population by providing wholly independent advice and information to employers, publice sector agencies and service providers."
I hope you find the content interesting and useful. If you have any questions, comments or contribution to make, I’d be very pleased to hear from you.
